Thanks in advance. Hollow Knight's one of my favorite indie games. Note: when you get close to perishing press the + button and select the third lowest menu item, something about saving and quitting.
Development was partially funded through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, raising over A$ 57,000 by the end of 2014. Maybe/probably even my top favorite. Might be better on a really good TV.
Im not saying don't buy shovel knight but Hollow Knight is a modern day classic.
The PC version can be experienced in 1080p or maybe even higher. I enjoy the basic gameplay of Hollow Knight but dying 5,000 times is kinda starting to piss me off and make me not want to play anymore.
I feel all dialogue boxes are harder to read and even hurt my eyes a little. Hollow Knight has more in common with Super Meat Boy than it does with Dead Cells.
Dead Cells has way more interesting combat and action and the loop of running and dying and restarting is great to play in chunks on the Switch.

And a lot of Hollow Knight’s later bosses feel straight up impossible to an average player who isn’t used to Metroidvanian combat, especially in the Godmaster portion.
Hollow Knight is a beautiful and amazing game. Although my girlfriend only has a really bad TV for her Switch. Hollow Knight is always the third game I recommend for new Nintendo Switch owners. For a couple of reasons.
Hollow Knight is harder in terms of exploration and its end game.
Team Cherry. My preference is Celeste but they're both amazing top-5 Switch games.
The person you go back in town and talk to to buy the item that updates your map is the wife of the guy that gave you the map. This is a similar debate to Zelda vs Mario.
Havent played ori yet but I'd say while individual rooms and puzzles might sometimes be harder than most of hollow knight theres a lot less pressure because restarting is …
