Hi there I have a relic world (First league Capital : Monthly XXX research +10) all prepped to be Ecumenopolis (no product district, only city district but still hagve some space for some more) and was wondering if it was worth it to turn it into an Ecumenopolis since the planet is dedicated to research and will lose its bonus after that ? It's perfectly normal, and doesn't stop you from turning it into an ecumenopolis. This is the one that unlocks on the planet that had the ferrophage and the "Rogue" AI. If a natural planet is terraformed into Ecumenopolis, Hive World, or Machine World, it loses all of its planetary features, including event features, except Hive Worlds and Machine Worlds do not lose the deposit features that determine the max number of Strategic Resource buildings. Converting a planet into an Ecumenopolis removes its normal district slots and Planetary Features, and allows it to build unique district types: one that produces Consumer Goods, one that produces Alloys, and one that produces Unity and Amenities.
